Am I Pregnant
Who knows how soon after conceiving a baby that you can start to have pregnancy symptoms? My period for the month of October started on the 8th and ended on Oct. 12th. My husband and I are really trying to have a child. 2 days ago I started to get sick to my stomach, I felt dizzy, had little headaches, and I am TIRED (I can just barely keep my eyes open), one minute I am hungry and then the next minute I don’t have the desire to even eat and when I do eat my food tastes a little different to me. My question is: Are these the early signs of pregnancy?
How to Deal With Acid Relux While Pregnant

Being Pregnant With Acid Reflux
You can avoid acid reflux during pregnancy
Both acid reflux and heartburn symptoms can be very common in women when their pregnant. There are different factors behind this. There are steps that can be taken to relieve the terrible symptoms of acid reflux during pregnancy.
Hormonal changes is one of big reason behind the appearance of both acid reflux and heartburn in pregnant women. The ligaments which keep the LES functioning correctly tend to soften during the pregnancy. This make the acid come out of your stomach and then into your esophagus.
A major factor as to why acid reflux is part and parcel of being pregnant is because of the fact that the baby is growing inside. As the baby grows over a period of months, more pressure is placed on the woman’s stomach. The pressure on the stomach forces the contents of the stomach to leak into the esophagus.
There are steps that can be taken which will lessen the degree of acid reflux during a woman’s pregnancy.
Certain foods can bring on heartburn. By reducing these foods or even cutting them out completely a pregnant woman can reduce the risks of what is called severe reflux. Foods which are fried or spicy or high in fat and are acidic all play a big part in increasing the risks of acid reflux symptoms.
Eating big meals can increase heartburn. And in most cases heartburn shows up after eating a substantial meal. The amount of the food that is consumed in one sitting will be the deciding factor on how much of the stomach acid is produced. If you eat smaller meals more frequently all through the day is much more beneficial for your stomach, than eating those large meals.
Do not eat for a few hours before going to bed. Otherwise your stomach will still contain some acid while you sleep. And if you lie flat when you sleep, the acid has a much easier time to travel up into your esophagus. Also you should try to make sure that both your shoulders and head are in elevated positions as you sleep. This will help stop the acid from traveling up your throat and into your mouth.
More pressure on your stomach during your pregnancy and the higher the risks of getting acid reflux symptoms. You need to avoid wearing any clothes that squeeze into your waist area. Trying to keep your body in good posture, and making sure your the knees are always bent when you are reaching to the floor.
There is nobody that likes to suffer from those symptoms of heartburn and of acid reflux. It’s harder when you have acid reflux while pregnant, especially while they have to put up with so many other things.
Chinese Conception Chart for Getting a Guess at Your Baby’s Gender
Jun 14th

When you are waiting to see what the sex of your baby will be, check out the Chinese conception chart, this is a fun way to take a guess. This Chinese conception chart has been around for quite a few centuries and experts say it was found in a royal tomb. Currently it is in the Beijing Institute of Science in the country of China on display.
This chart is not completely accurate. The method of determining gender uses the womans age and month of conception. The most accurate results use lunar months instead of the regular months. These months run about 29 days.
You can just look at the ages themselves and come to an idea whether or not you will have a boy or girl or not. The ages are ranged from 18 to 45. On the chart the ages more likely of having a girl are 21, 22, 30, 31, 32, and 34. If you are 18, 20, 23, 26, 31, or 43, you are more likely to have a boy. However, there are some ages where there is no higher percentage of one more than the other. These ages are 28, 29, 35, 40, 42, and 45. If you are 19, 24, or 33, there is a 7 to 5 odd that you will have a girl. It is not as definite as the other ages but it is still more likely than having a boy. The exact opposite of having a boy with the same odds 25, 27, 36, 37, 41, and 44.
Based on the conception month the odds on what sex your baby will be change. The months do not have as many one way or the other odds. January, February, May, and October each have 3 to 4 odds of being a boy. April has a to 3 to 4 odds in favor of being a girl. June, August, September, and November are all 15 to 13 in favor of a girl. March and December both have a fifty -fifty chance of your baby being a boy or girl. The only odd month is July where the odds are outstandingly in favor of having a boy at 9 to 19 according to the chart.
The chances of having a boy or girl varies from age to conception month. In some areas it is predictable, but like with the actuality of having a baby it really is fifty-fifty. The odds when looking at age vary a little more than conception month. Either way, the chart leans more towards having a boy than girl. That may be just the Chinese’s obsession with having boys, though.
The Chinese conception chart is a fun thing to use when pregnant. It is interesting to find out if the chart was correct or not. It is always curious to look behind the chart at the overall chances. This is not scientific though and has no basis other than to have fun. Although, it sometimes proves accurate that does not mean you should get your hopes up that whatever you fall into will bring you a boy or girl. Do not get ahead of yourself when using this chart. Always, see your doctor about the sex of your baby.
