It might be a myth, but I have always heard that oysters increase fertility and desire. I have heard that ginseng does the same.

It’s not just regular yams. It’s a type of yam that can only be found in Africa. You may be able to find it somewhere on the net, or order it from Africa. It’s some sort of wild white yam root. There is also vitex or also called chaste tree berry. It comes in the form of capsule or liquid. Raspberry leaf tea is good too.

i think the best thing to do if your trying to concieve is jus eat as healthy as you can, i know its frustrating as the mst unhealthy person can fall pregnant, but its definately the best start for your baby-to-be!

I don’t think there is anything in particular – you need to make sure you have a healthy diet with lots of fruit and veg and cut down or cut out alcohol, smoking and drugs. You need to be fit so some exercise may help as you’ll feel good about yourself. Of course you should be taking folic acid too. You may just need to give your body a little time to get used to not being on the pill and for it to ‘settle down’. If you are really concerned, or are older, make an appointment for you and your partner to see the Dr, just to double check, and, if necessary, to start having tests etc. (good luck I’ve been ttc for six years and am 7 weeks pregnant following IVF)

I have read and heard and tried ice cream- this is supposed to be beneficial if you are trying to get pregnant or whole fat milk.
Agnus Cactus is also supposed to regulate cycles also i have several friends who have used this to regulate them selves in order to conceive.
I would say though just generally eating healthily and taking folic acid tablets will all help

It depends entirely on what’s preventing your ovulation.
High doses of vitamin B will help your body return to normal ovulation after being on the birth control pill. If you have PCOS, there’s nothing you can really take, besides prescription medication, to help you.
Do you know for sure that you’re not ovulating?
Edit to add: if you’re just off the pill, I suggest trying vitamin B6. Try googling vitamin B6 and fertility – I forget what the doseage is. It’s either 50 or 100mgs per day I believe…

Yes, there are! I used a hundred different websites, and they all told me the same thing! I will give you the links to the ones I used. To shorten up the answer, raspberries and blueberries (they have anti-oxidants), oysters (increases fertility by drastic amounts) and nuts.
