IF you are ttc, it’s always best to quit smoking, limit caffeine and of course, alcohol. Of course, a high fat diet also isn’t the best-but that’s even if you aren’t ttc.

Some say that the artificial hormones put into processed meats and some milk products for long life/ shelf life treatment can bear a negative effect on fertility and human hormone levels. I haven’t done much research into this, but is something to be aware of. As organic and natural a diet as possible a few months prior to TTC would be very beneficial indeed.
As for long-term fertility health, I think as long as you have a healthy and balanced diet, perhaps cutting back on processed ready meals and similar food wherever possible, you should be on track.
Having said that – it would be very tricky to stick to long-term if you’re anything like me! Don’t be too hard on yourself.
