I would recommend going to a gyno. They will be able to tell you what you need to do to be healthy before, during and after your pregnancy. They can also do tons of tests to make sure everything is ok with you before you start ttc. Also, if you find you are having any problems ttc, they can do further testing and offer medication to help.
Your family practitioner could do some blood work, but you will eventually need to be a gyno/ob.

Neither! You should visit a gynaec and Obs Doc. Although you can consult your family practitioner for basic blood tests. A Gynae and Obs Doc can guide you through TTC program and check your fertility through different methods if u have difficulty conceiving
