After the ejaculation, the fluid that carries the sperm liquefies and most of it just runs out of your vagina. Your body can not use and does not need that seminal fluid, so it does has to run out at some eventually. However you may be worried that you are losing this valuable sperm, but More >

I took a pregnancy test yesterday because my ovulation calendar software said it was time to test, and got a positive result. But, I have had really no symptoms, aside from a bit of fatigue and being overly emotional and hungry more often, all of which can be explained away. When can I exepct some More >

I know I can’t get a tattoo while I’m pregnant, but can I give someone a tattoo while I’m pregnant? This might sound like a stupid question, but I just want to make sure, lol! Share and Enjoy:

My best friend is pregnant and wants a tattoo. The doctor said its okay as long if she doesnt stress out about them or anything. But my main question is will the parlor refuse to tattoo you? Is it a law or anything? Share and Enjoy:

Why is it that most places will not tattoo a pregnant woman? Can it interfere with the baby in a early pregnancy? My friend got a tattoo a few days before she found out she was 5 weeks pregnant and miscarried a week later. Could that have had anything to do with it? Share and More >

No. No tattoos or piercings until 6 weeks postpartum. Trust me, it’s not worth the risk.

Something about tattoos and motherhood just don’t seem to mix quite well. I think you should save the money, you’ll have to buy alot of baby stuff.

This is a no brainer…no. There are too many risks of infection. I wouldn’t do it while breastfeeding either. I am actually surprised anyone would even think about a tattoo while pregnant.

What Lawrence said…………And why couldn’t you decide to do this b/4 you got pregnant………Or just wait until the child is born….You know you shouldn’t Right?

No it isnt. Definitley better to wait until after you have had the baby.

I don’t think it is. I don’t know if it can get in your blood stream, it could but im not sure. But it can definetly get infected, which would be a disaster cuz you are not supposed to take drugs or medicines while being pregnant.

no absolutly not,

Even in the cleanest of tattoo parlors there is a risk for disease or infection. Plus, something that is harmless to you can be too much for a fetus or even small child to handle, so there is an issue with the ink. It’s time to start putting your own selfish desires aside, and thinking about your child.

I would generally say no. RIsk of infection and all that jazz. Plus your lower back area is where your baby is hanging out. Too much stress to put on the little babe.

better not…

NO, it’s not safe…the ink can somehow get into your blood stream and infect the baby

No!! The chemicals from the ink could be dangerous to the baby and most doctors do not recommend it!! Most tattoo parlors will not do a tattoo for you if you’re pregnant because of all the risks that are involved.

No, and any good tatoo place will not give you one when you are pregnant. the ink mixes with your blood.. a baby cant take that

Why dont you wait until the baby is born and then you can both get one… come on!!!
Tattoos are ghetto. You are going to be a mother, an example to your child. Is that what you really want to portray? Whatever you do your kid will do worse.

no

no, due to the adrenaline that u produce while having a tattoo done can cause a miscarriage. wait til afterwards!!

I don’t think so. I looked into it when I was breastfeeding and they wouldn’t do it because the body assumes you are still pregnant when nursing and it doesn’t heal as quick. Plus the hormones could do something too. You can get a weird color of hair (if you dye it) so I’d assume the same would be of a tatoo.
