TweetShare After the ejaculation, the fluid that carries the sperm liquefies and most of it just runs out of your vagina. Your body can not use and does not need that seminal fluid, so it does has to run out at some eventually. However you may be worried that you are losing this valuable sperm, More >

TweetShareIs there any kind of food or vitamins that make a woman more fertile?
about 2 years ago - 3 comments
TweetShareNone, really, unless the man or woman is malnourished. For information on the subject, try reading _Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition_ by Marilyn Shannon. I haven’t read the book, but I have seen it recommended.

I have a lot with out infection(not while pregnant)…the reason you can get an infection when getting one pregnant is because your body is working had for the baby and you may not heal as fast, i.e infection.

One problem with getting a tattoo while pregnant is that if the ink gets into your blood, it could cause poisoning to the baby. Also, if you get the tattoo on your lower back, I heard you can’t get the pain medication there when you have birth because pushing in the ink could poison the baby. My best advice would be to wait until after the child is born if you don’t want to risk anything. Your baby’s life is too precious !!!

I don’t think any pregnant woman should! I was going to get a tattoo this summer but once I realized I was pregnant, I said that I wouldn’t!

Probably not. About a third of all pregnancies miscarry within the first three months. It just happens.
But they suggest you don’t get a tatto because they’re always a risk of infection, no matter how hygeinic a parlor is, and if any of that gets into your blood stream, it goes straight to your baby. It’s just not a good idea. That’s why most artists won’t tat you. Because they don’t want to be held accountable if something were to happen to your baby.

The problem with tattoos is that even though they change needles for each new customer, they don’t open new ink for each person, and so you are getting ink that has been exposed to other people’s body fluids. (This might differ state by state, and an astute tattooist would have figured out to pour the ink into little dishes and toss the excess, rather than dipping into a bigger pot.) However, having a pregnancy may very well affect your tattoo! Depending on the location of your tattoo, it is possible that its shape will stretch during pregnancy. Because your body is changing so dramatically, it is possible that your tattoo will not return to its original shape even after delivery. This tends to be the most common with tattoos on the abdomen, although tattoos on the lower back or the thighs can experience the same types of things. Even a tattoo on the ankle might stretch out of shape if your feet do a lot of swelling during your pregnancy! ( Happened to a friend of mine, she got a frog…he soon looked like a green blob after the baby was born! lol) Another possible negative effect of getting tattooed while pregnant is the risk of stress. Any stressful event, or any event that your body sees as stressful, can lead to premature labor. While getting a tattoo isn’t necessarily one of the most stressful events, it can certainly add to the stress that a pregnant woman is already feeling, and increase her stress to unsafe levels. The risk of fainting is also a concern if you want to get tattooed while pregnant. It is not uncommon for people who are getting a tattoo to pass out. Certainly any experience that puts you at risk for falling, such as fainting does, should be avoided during pregnancy.

well its not good for a pregnant woman to get a tattoo because she can catch an infection in her skin or blood and of course this can affect the baby…as far as the tattoo parlors, they don’t do it because if they do and something happens to the baby, the woman can sue them

You can get a infection!!!

It’s true… A tattoo parlor will not touch a woman if they know she is pregnant. For multiple reasons:
Infection.
Ink Poisoning.
Pain causes stress on the unborn baby. If she is further along, the fetal stress can sometimes lead to preterm labor.
A pregnant woman is much more likely to get an infection than a woman who is not. The hormones a woman excretes when she is pregnant, changes the way her body will react to a multitude of different things.
I doubt your friend’s m/c was due to the tattoo… But in reality, you will NEVER know.
I would NEVER chance it.
