Trying To Get Pregnant
When Getting A Tattoo On Your Hip, If You Become Pregnant Later On Will The Tattoo Stretch Out?
I’m seventeen and will be eighteen in less than a month. Im going to get a tattoo on my birthday, but haven’t decided exactly where i want it. I’ve narrowed it down to either my foot or my hip, right now im leaning more towards my hip, my question is that if i get a tattoo on my hip when im older if i become pregnant will the tattoo stretch or become unrecognizable?

Yes, that’s why they’re so stupid looking on women. Plus as you get older they’ll change shape and droop. Real sexy.

yes it will. the outline will blur and it will look bad.

Yes, the tattoo will probably stretch, better to pick another spot…

I’m not sure, ask the tattoo artist before you get it done. I imagine it would stretch, but not sure.

Ha, yeah it will look pretty bad. I’ve seen women at the pool with tattoos that used to be somewhere and now they have gone south. They look cute when your young but once you get older they look awful.

kate goslin on john and kate plus 8 is a perfect example of this. she had a rose on her hip. then she got pregnant, her skin stretched out, and then she had plastic surgery to get rid of all the excess skin. she now has just the thorny stem, no rose.
so yeah, if you plan on having kids, dont get tattoos on any part of your body near your stomach

sadly, no one can predict how your body will react to pregnancy.
if stretch marks run in your family, id avoid it.
if not, go for it
and even if they do, you can enjoy the tattoo for a few years, and it would be a small sacrifice for the miracle of life (awh…)
besides, vitamin e oil or bio oil massaged into the skin during pregnancy hugely reduces stretchmarks anyway.
or so ive been told….

actually it all depends on your family history. all the women in my family have had many kids and did not get stretch marks and did not keep much of the baby fat after and all of them have tattoos on their hip stomach pelvic area and they still look the same as they did before children. so ask around and see what your family history is with that before you get it

Haha. Well, concerning the whole Kate Goslin thing, I don’t think she’s planning on having 6 kids at one time. I mean, did you see her when she was pregnant?!?!?! She looked like she had the World’s Largest Watermelon Champion in her stomach!
Sure, it’ll stretch out. But you can get lots of lotion that’ll help somewhat. And it depends on your fam. My sister had a dolphin on her hip but now it looks like a sperm whale. My step sister has a butterfly. She’s had 2 kids and it looks the same as it always did.
